Study: Dead Sea Creatures Cover More Than 98% Of Ocean Floor Off Of Cal Coast

The Pacific Ocean appears to be dying, according to a new study recently published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Scientists from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) in California recently discovered that the number of dead sea creatures blanketing the floor of the Pacific is higher than it has ever been in the 24 years that monitoring has taken place, a phenomenon that the data suggests is a direct consequence of nuclear fallout from Fukushima.

Though the researchers involved with the work have been reluctant to pin Fukushima as a potential cause — National Geographic, which covered the study recently, did not even mention Fukushima — the timing of the discovery suggests that Fukushima is, perhaps, the cause. According to the data, this sudden explosion in so-called “sea snot,” which is the name given to the masses of dead sea creatures that sink to the ocean floor as food, has skyrocketed since the Fukushima incident occurred.

“In the 24 years of this study, the past two years have been the biggest amounts of this detritus by far,” stated Christine Huffard, a marine biologist at MBARI and leader of the study, to National Geographic.

At an ocean research station known as Station M, located 145 miles out to sea between the Californian cities of Santa Barbara and Monterey, Huffard and her colleague Ken Smith observed a sharp uptick in the amount of dead sea life drifting to the ocean floor. The masses of dead sea plankton, jellyfish, feces and other oceanic matter that typically only cover about 1 percent of the ocean floor were found to now be covering about 98 percent of it — and multiple other stations located throughout the Pacific have since reported similar figures.

“In March 2012, less than one percent of the seafloor beneath Station M was covered in dead sea salps,” writes Carrie Arnold for National Geographic. “By July 1, more than 98 percent of it was covered in the decomposing organisms. … The major increase in activity of deep-sea life in 2011 and 2012 weren’t limit to Station M, though: Other ocean-research stations reported similar data.”

No more sea life means no more oxygen in our atmosphere

Interestingly, Arnold does not even make a peep about Fukushima, which by all common sense is the most reasonable explanation for this sudden increase in dead sea life. Though the most significant increases were observed roughly a year after the incident, the study makes mention of the fact that the problems first began in 2011.

“Forget looking at global warming as the culprit,” writes National Geographic commenter “Grammy,” pointing out the lunacy of Arnold’s implication that the now-debunked global warming myth was the sudden cause of a 9,700 percent increase in dead sea life.

Backing her up, another National Geographic commenter jokingly stated that somehow “the earth took such a huge hit in a four-month timeframe of a meltdown via global warming and we as a people didn’t recognize this while [it was] happening; while coincidentally during that same time frame the event at Fukushima took place.”

It is almost as if the powers that be want us all to forget about Fukushima and the catastrophic damage it continues to cause to our planet. But they will not be able to cover up the truth forever, as human life is dependent upon healthy oceans, the life of which provides the oxygen that we all need to breathe and survive.

There is no doubt that these mass animal deaths occurring around the world today is one of the many signs of the times, showing that we are living in the last days. Throughout history we have not seen animals dying in these kinds of numbers all around the world. But the earth and the seas are so polluted now from man made chemicals and oil spills, the animals just don’t stand a chance! But this was to be expected, as God already warned through Bible prophecy that this world is heading for complete ruin. Friends, it’s time to turn to Christ Jesus. He is our ONLY hope in our lives.

Hundreds maybe thousands of dead fish popping up in N. Dakota

chances-aresss

Anglers and those who live along the Jamestown Reservoir are seriously concerned by what they are seeing wash up along the shore.

Hundreds of dead carp are appearing, and North Dakota Game and Fish biologists are stumped as to why.

Living on the east side of the reservoir, Jim Schmitt has seen his fair share of fish, but what he sees now is strange to him. “The darndest thing. They were so high on the water, and it looked like they were gasping for air,” says Schmitt.

He has also been seeing dead ones floating near shore.

His concerns are the concerns of many who have been vocal to the Game and Fish Department. Fisheries Biologist BJ Kratz says he first started noticing signs of the fish kill as the ice came off, but then he started getting reports that the carp seemed sluggish.

“It’s not typical for carp because carp are usually pretty active this time of year and are also easy to spook and reactive when people approach them,” says Kratz.

The carcasses also continue to pile up.

Kratz says, “At this point it looks, it’s definitely in the hundreds, if not thousands.”

Kratz says there is extra stress on the carp this time of year as they breed, making them more susceptible to disease. It is pertinent for biologists to figure out what disease.

“Anytime something like this happens our concern is with our game fish that we manage, and for, to make sure none of those would be affected.”

A team came from Bismarck to take samples to send them to the Fish Health Center in Bozeman, Montana. Kratz says they could be looking at an Asian or European virus. He says, “It is rather uncommon to this region, and it hasn’t been documented in North Dakota.”

But that is all speculation. For now, the only thing that can be done is wait for the results. The results of the testing should be available by late next week.

China:16,000 Dead Pigs in City Main River

China_Dead_Pigs.JPEG-024d4

Shanghai said the end of an embarrassing pollution case which saw dead pigs floating down the city’s main river was in sight, with the total number recovered now standing at more than 16,000.

“The city’s water territory has already basically finished the work of fishing out the floating dead pigs,” said a Shanghai government statement released late on Sunday.

China’s commercial hub recovered 98 pigs on Sunday from the Huangpu river and 93 on Saturday, the authorities said, the first times the daily toll had fallen below a hundred in days.

The total number Shanghai had removed from the river, which supplies 22 percent of the city’s drinking water, had reached 10,924 as of Sunday afternoon.

In addition, Jiaxing in neighbouring Zhejiang province, whose farmers are accused by Shanghai of dumping the dead pigs into the river upstream, had found 5,528 carcasses, state radio said last week.

Mystery remains over the exact origin of the dead hogs. Jiaxing has insisted it was not the sole source, while Shanghai said its farms have not reported an epidemic which would kill pigs in such large numbers.

The images of dead pigs in China’s commercial hub have proved a huge embarrassment for the city, which is seeking to grow as an international financial centre.

The scandal has highlighted China’s troubles with food safety, adding the country’s most popular meat to a growing list of food items rocked by controversy.

Animals that die from disease can end up in China’s food supply chain if improperly disposed of, despite laws against the practice.

Samples of the dead pigs have tested positive for porcine circovirus, a common swine disease that does not affect humans.

Over 30 Dogs Missing in Idaho Town, One Found Ritualistically Murdered

Very-Sad-Looking-Dog

The search for dozens of missing dogs in Idaho takes a turn for the worse as one dog is found murdered in a ritualistic manner.

While there are many things to signify that our species is headed in the right direction and there are plenty of things to give us hope, there is still an unfortunately large number of people who are trapped in a very sadistic and destructive mindset.

Last year there was a string of disturbing cases of cannibalism, and now it seems that this year ritualistic murder and animal sacrifices are becoming common in the media.

Recently in Idaho dogs have been mysteriously vanishing, and one even turned up murdered in a ritualistic style killing.

“The dogs seem to vanish into thin air,” said Debbie Blackwood, director of the animal shelter in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Reuters reported that:

“Officials say some 30 dogs have gone missing in recent months in Twin Falls and nearby communities in an agricultural region in south-central Idaho known as the Magic Valley. A man and his young daughter hiking along the north rim of the Snake River Canyon northeast of Twin Falls earlier this month discovered the remains of a German shepherd that had apparently been stoned to death, Blackwood said.

The dog, found in an area known as the Devil’s Corral in neighboring Jerome County, appeared to have suffered a “ritualistic execution” in which its head was crushed with rock and its carcass covered with a purple cloth, she said.  The case has prompted the Humane Society of the United States to offer a $5,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the dog’s death.”

The dogs have reportedly been lured into vans and never seen again.

“They saw them loading them in their vehicle,” Blackwood told KPVI-TV. “They let their little dog out, next thing she knows a red van pulls up and she has to race out and retrieve it, an older person in the dark.”

“Animals go missing every day. What’s disturbing about this trend is that there is absolutely no trace of them,” said Lisa Kauffman, Idaho director of the Humane Society of the United States.

John Goodwin, head of animal cruelty policy for the Humane Society, said it was unlikely dogs were stolen by people engaged in dog fighting, because it was rare for those involved in the activity to use just any dog.

Just two weeks ago we covered a story where a 27 year old rapper was arrested for attempting to sacrifice a friend, so he could achieve super stardom.  There are a lot of people out there who are twisted from a life of indoctrination, and as the people in power continue to behave like monsters, there will be a small but loud portion of society who will emulate these monsters in attempts to achieve power or control in their own lives and neighborhoods.

Pilot whales shot after mass stranding

A pod of 28 pilot whales stranded on Farewell Spit in Golden Bay have been shot by DOC staff.

The Department of Conservation told ONE News that it was first alerted about a beaching at 9am, and when volunteers arrived to rescue a second whale, they discovered 28 stranded on the beach.

Twelve whales died in the first hour and DOC staff said the unusually high death rate and the fact that the next high tide is not until tomorrow lunch time forced them to make the decision, along with local iwi and Project Jonah volunteers, to euthanise the rest of the stranded whales.

Staff used a high-calibre rifle to euthanise the whales and this process was carried out this afternoon.

“It’s really sad and not a situation we take lightly but anything else is inhumane and would prolong their suffering,” DOC biodiversity manager Hans Stoffregen said.

“They don’t look that flash so putting them all through another two days of this is inhumane.”

The pod was lying almost amongst the driftwood and the next high tide at midnight probably would not reach them, he said.

The whales will be left on the beach to be savaged and rot.

Stoffregen said it would possible more whales might also come in, and he asked anyone seeing more whales out at sea or beached to contact DOC.

This stranding is said to be earlier than usual, with the main season for whale strandings from around the end of the year through until March, he said.

Whale strandings are not uncommon in Golden Bay, at the top of the South Island.

A pod of 99 pilot whales stranded at Farewell Spit in Golden Bay in January. Many died while more than 90 volunteers worked to refloat others.

Project Jonah chief executive Kimberly Muncaster says the geography of Golden Bay is confusing for whales and they often end up stranded again after being refloated.

Worldwide Mass Animal Deaths for 2012

Below is a list of mass animal deaths for 2012 with a page also for mass deaths in 2011. There are animals mysteriously dying all over the world today in huge numbers. Millions of Fish and massive numbers of whales and dolphins are washing ashore dead. Hundreds of Birds are falling out of the sky, and countless cattle are dying from disease, just to name a few. Sure, animals have been dying all throughout history. But not in the massive numbers that we are seeing today. And many people are relating this to the signs of the last days which the Bible foretold. Is it a sign? Yes, it’s one of the MANY signs of the end times which you can find in this site. This list will be updated as the events happen.

NOTE: → (Since 2006) Over 3 million colonies of bees have died off in the USA and over a thousand million bees have died in this period throughout the world. Link

And now a fatal parasitic infection is spreading across America, causing “zombie bees”. Link

NOTE: → (During the Past 6 years) 6.7 million bats have died in the U.S. due to the “white-nose syndrome”… With a 90% fall in populations. (Causing a “Potential Extinction” Event!) Link and here

Bees Dying          Bat Pollinating

Why are these mass deaths of Bees and Bats a concern for the world? Because Honey Bees don’t just make honey. They also do the vital job of pollinating the majority of the flowering crops we have, from which we get much of our fruits, vegetables and nuts … including Beans, Soybean, Broccoli, Sprouts, Carrots, Cucumber, Onion, Parsnip, Squash, Tomato, Almonds, Cashew, Apple, Blackberry, Blueberry, Cacao, Coffee, Grapes, Kiwi, Mango, Pear, Raspberry, Alfalfa, Sesame, Sunflower … Just to name a few. A major part of the human diet comes from insect-pollinated plants. See this document for a more complete list and much more information about pollination.

And what about the bats? Well, not only do they help in pollinating other foods we eat, like Bananas, Mangoes, Dates, Figs, Peaches, Cashews, Guava and Avocados. They also consume incredible amounts of insects that are agricultural pests. The millions of bats that have died due to disease over the past 6 years would have consumed HUNDREDS OF TONNES of insects (pests) in ONE YEAR. Add this to the struggling crops because of adverse weather and you will see the problem. BUT, this is just to show that we are living in the end times. Those of us who trust in and follow Christ Jesus need not worry, as our food will always be provided by our Great Savior and Protector.

Twenty percent of the invertebrate species across the globe – spineless creatures ranging from earthworms to bees to butterflies to lobsters and beyond – are facing the possible risk of extinction unless more is done to protect them, say researchers from the Zoological Society of London (ZSL).

As part of their 87-page study, ZSL scientists joined forces with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to review more than 12,000 invertebrate species listed on the organization’s Red List of Threatened Species.

They discovered that an estimated one-fifth of those species are threatened to the point that they could eventually die out, with freshwater creatures most at risk of extinction, followed by terrestrial invertebrates and marine creatures without backbones, the organization said in an August 31 online report.

“The highest risk of extinction tends to be associated with species that are less mobile and are only found in small geographical areas,” the ZSL said. “For example, vertebrate amphibians and invertebrate freshwater mollusks both face high levels of threat – around one third of species. In contrast, invertebrate species which are more mobile like dragonflies and butterflies face a similar threat to that of birds, and around one tenth of species are at risk.”

The scientists report that the creatures face a vast array of different threats, with mollusks suffering from pollution originating from agricultural sources and construction and crayfish facing threats from invasive species and illness. Furthermore, they told Alister Doyle of Reuters that the creatures, which lack internal skeletons, have also been threatened by global warming, habitat loss, and over-exploitation.

“We knew that roughly one fifth of vertebrates and plants were threatened with extinction, but it was not clear if this was representative of the small spineless creatures that make up the majority of life on the planet,” Jonathan Baillie, the ZSL’s director of conservation, told BBC Nature Reporter Ella Davies on Friday. “The initial findings in this report indicate that 20% of all species may be threatened… This is particularly concerning as we are dependent on these spineless creatures for our very survival.”

“We need to successfully communicate the significance and value of invertebrate life, if we are to rescue the many thousands of threatened species from the brink of extinction,” added Richard Edwards, Chief Executive of IUCN Red List partner Wildscreen, an advocacy group working to promote biodiversity through wildlife photography.

“This important report highlights the impact we are having on the world’s invertebrate biodiversity, species we all rely on for healthy natural systems, sustainable livelihoods and human well-being.”

ZSL representatives will be presenting their research, entitled “Spineless: Status and Trends of the World’s Invertebrates,” on September 7 at the IUCN World Conservation Congress in the autonomous South Korean province of Jeju.

Outbreak of anthrax killing Canadian bison

YELLOWKNIFE, Northwest Territories, July 11 (UPI) — At least 150 bison in Canada’s remote Northwest Territories have been killed by anthrax in recent weeks, natural resources officials said.

The carcasses were spotted in aerial surveys by the territorial department of Environment and Natural Resources staff, spokeswoman Judy McLinton told the Globe and Mail.

The Mackenzie Valley area about 75 miles north of the Alberta border is accessible only by boat in the summer and hosts only a few cottages and campsites. Notices were posted at all of them that the area was closed, as anthrax can also be deadly for humans. People were told to avoid and report any carcasses they find.

McLinton said the dead bison were being soaked with formaldehyde, covered in tarps and systematically burned.

Scientists say anthrax outbreaks in the territories have been happening for many years and usually follow long spells of wet weather, which was the case this year.

The spores can lie dormant in the ground for a long time and the bison eat them through grass and other plants, the report said.

There are an estimated 2,000 bison in the southwestern part of the territory, scientists said.
